Monodrama for mezzo soprano and Ensemble

This Monodrama for mezzo soprano and Ensemble (12 musicians) is a commission from the Ensemble LUCILIN Luxembourg to the japanese composer Toshio Hosokawa (*1955).
The Ensemble and the composer have collaborated on several occasions. In 2005, Lucilin went to Japan for a series of concerts to celebrate Toshio Hosokawa’s 50th birthday.
The Monodrama is dedicated to Lucilin and the outstanding mezzo-soprano Charlotte Hellekant.
