Concert as part of the Heritage Days
To celebrate Heritage Days, contemporary music will sound into Villa Louvigny’s auditoire with United Instruments of Lucilin presenting a varied concert of several pieces selected from the contemporary répertoire. The program includes minimalist pieces with Steve Reich’s « Music for Pieces of Wood » and an extract from the splendid « Quartet n°5 » by Philip Glass, more spectacular pieces with Magnus Lindberg’s « Ablauf » for clarinet and two percussions, or « Popular context » by Matthew Shlomowitz for keyboard, 2 percussions and electronics – and not to mention Luxembourgish composer Camille Kerger’s last string quartet « Kaleidoscope » (2018).
